In 2013 we contracted Computer Talk to supply and install our Ruckus wireless system, we were
confident that the Ruckus system was the correct choice for us after reviewing several other
systems.
This included a Zone Director controller and 20 Access points. In 2015 the school went through a
considerable expansion, which pushed the number of access points to 62 including 3 external. Again,
Computer Talk carried out the physical installation of all access points, including cabling, installation
and configuration which also included configuration of VLAN’s on our HP switches.
We have multiple SSID’s simultaneously broadcasting, which allows separate access to our
infrastructure, pupil and staff access. Computer Talk also configured our guest and BYOD networks.
Overall we are very happy with the wireless system and have total coverage and capacity over our
site. Although we have a support contract in place for the system in the time we have had it, we
have used it just once.
I would recommend the Ruckus Wireless system as a WIFI solution and Computer Talk as a supplier
& installer without reservation.
